Stillwater, Minn. (November 12, 2024) -- Following Thanksgiving this year, Stillwater will be home to three must-attend events at the Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter. Event attendees can also enjoy the talents of strolling accordion players while they dine on authentic Bavarian fare served in a traditional lodge-like restaurant.
The well-attended Christkindlmarkt returns on Saturday, December 7th, 2024, from noon to 4pm. Enjoy a glass of gluhwein with sausage pieces and goulash before trying your hand at Hammer-Schlagen® and taking a stab at bock-poking. Appearing for added pleasure, the Twin Cities Brass Band will be playing as you peruse around an open fire and plenty of crafters in the Gasthaus meadow. On Sunday, December 15th, 2024, the public is invited to indulge in a delicious all you can eat Christmas buffet. While you enjoy Baked Ham with Carmel Pecan Glaze, Sheppard’s Pie, and other more traditional fare with your family, Santa will be greeting diners and their families tableside! The heavily anticipated Beer Dinner returns to Gasthaus on Saturday, January 18th, 2025, at 6pm. Attendees will be privileged to a plated, four-course banquet on white linen. During each course, a different Paulaner beer brewed in Munich will be served that has been specially selected to pair with the food of that course. This is a ticketed event, and space will be strictly limited to 50 attendees. Tickets are available for sale only on-site and in-person at the main-level Gasthaus bar.
