Stillwater, Minn. (August 5, 2025) -- The Gasthaus is proud to announce the return of its two flagship fall festivals.
On Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025, the Waldfest returns. During this party in the pines, Gasthaus’ sought-after roast pork sandwich will be served. “We are a knife-and-fork dinner club,” says Gasthaus’ owner, Jim Martin, “and this is one, single afternoon is the only time we serve this special sandwich. No matter how many we make, we always sellout.” Polka premier Bill Koncar is scheduled to appear, along with other food vendors and entertainment. From Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, and Hofbräu beers imported directly from Munich, Germany, to roasted almonds, kettle corn, and authentic Bavarian dinner fare, the most anticipated fall festival in Minnesota returns! Gasthaus’ annual Oktoberfest will be held on September 12-14 & 19-21, 2025, with gates opening on Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 10pm (21+ only) and on Sundays from noon to 6pm (all ages welcome). “Each day last year, saw attendances in the thousands,” says Martin, “with hundreds of kegs of beer served.” This year, Gasthaus is expecting an even larger crowd, wihich moved Martin to enlist Washington County Sherriff Deputies for security assistance. “And, we will be more than doubling our daily workforce during Fest,” says Martin.
